Music

system Music truly is the great facilitator. It will enhance our moods and oft en it will appear to create the emotions we are feeling. Frequently we will find ourselves drawn to the melodies that match how we feel. Is it no wonder then that researchers have been studying the effects of music for perhaps as long as music itself has been around.

The vibratory patterns of a song have been found to have a profound effect on us. Besides the impact on our moods and emotions, these man made tunes have been found to allow us to learn faster and more effectively, to relax and focus more clearly, and to speed healing within our bodies. On the other hand music has been found to just as easily cause the reverse to occur. Certain music can cause disease, discomfort, degeneration, create tension and send our mood plummeting to the depths of severe depression. Therefore the type of music we listen to is extremely important.

At the same time, research into the human mind has found that the energy of a thought vibrates in measurable units known as frequencies. Furthermore, they have found that there is a vibratory frequency referred to as Alpha which, when measurable in the brain, will indicate that the individual is in a mental place where they can relax, focus, and learn at an accelerated pace. In this state of being, a person also demonstrates the capacity to heal and recover from most maladies at a far greater rate than considered normal.

Research, especially in the field of learning, has discovered that certain music will vibrate at a frequency that is a match to the Alpha frequency of the brain. When a person listens to this type of music, they find themselves able to more easily achieve the desired state of Alpha. In this state, they are able to relax and let go of all negative thinking. People in the state of Alpha are mentally clearer, smarter, and more likely to reach resolutions on life issues, create positive thoughts, and reach a deeper awareness on whatever they focus upon.

In the mental state of Alpha a person can relax, focus, learn, and heal more quickly than is normally possible.

The type of music needed to help the mind resonate with a frequency that approximates the Alpha state is any music that is played at a very slow sixty beats per minute. Known as “Largo” it is mostly found in sections of the old classics. Composers such as Bach, Vivaldi, Telemann, and others all had “Largo” movements in the music they wrote. The research in Super Learning techniques has found that listening to this slower music allows an individual to obtain the Alpha brain wave state that not only facilitates learning but also results in all the other benefits that have been found associated with this meditative state. Recently we have had the good fortune to have a contemporary composer create 60 beats per minute music specifically for the techniques we have developed.

In addition to the sixty beats per minute music, another factor has been discovered about music when it comes to its ability to facilitate health. It would seem from the results of the research in this area that the vibratory patterns of the individual creating the music have an influence on not only the ultimate frequencies of the music but also on its impact upon the listener.

Music played in Largo rhythm of 60 beats per minute helps the mind resonate in the Alpha state. The best example of this is the effectiveness of almost all the work by Mozart. Study after study has demonstrated that when a person listens to music created by Mozart their chances of becoming healthier increase dramatically. To demonstrate this, all we need is a person with a blatant symptom of an unhealthy condition. Often after listening to Mozart the condition improves enough that the results can be quantified. The fact that all his music can do this, coupled with the fact that this particular healing effect is not widely found in other music, indicates that his music carries some sort of energetic signature, one that is a match to cellular health.

This Mozart phenomenon has been found in a song here and a song there but for the most part (with the exception of Mozart) not in all the music written by one individual. That is up until now.

The following is an excerpt from the book Secrets of the Spine: the True Mind/Body Connection, written by the developer of the Spine Tuner and the creator of this revolutionary approach to health Dr Joseph B. Culbertson.

"As to the identity of this composer/musician, he’s the little boy who inherited my trombone, my nephew Brian Culbertson. If you haven’t heard of him, I would highly recommend that you pick up his latest CD which you can find out about at his website, www.brianculbertson.com.

One more note about Brian. As I was preparing to write this section, I began wondering how I was going to talk about him without appearing to be promoting my nephew. Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve had years witnessing others respond by just listening to his music so I am definitely secure when it comes to talking about his abilities. But as you don’t know me or Brian, I was hoping to find a way to cover this so that it wouldn’t turn you off to the tools I have talked about. Seeing you all regain your health and then letting others know how to do this is definitely my greatest hope for this world.

THE MOZART PHENOMENON: Listening to Mozart's music improves the probability of becoming healthier!

As I pondered this question of how to introduce Brian’s music, a friend who happens to be a yoga teacher came over. As it happened (I honestly don’t believe there are any coincidences), her lower back and right hip were hurting. A brief exam uncovered a muscular imbalance, especially a weakness in the right latissimus dorsi, and a jamming of the right sacro-iliac joint. I just couldn’t resist the experiment. I had her stand and relax in front of my speakers and I played a random selection of one of Brian’s songs.

She walked away without the pain, her latissimus was strong, and her hips were moving precisely as they should. This helped me remember why I believe this is so important. There is so much adverse energy available today. Twenty four hours a day we are being exposed to it. Getting all the help we can get just makes focusing on our healthy spines and positive thoughts a little easier. So for me, to mention Brian was necessary if I am to help as much as I would hope."

Imagine a composer with the gift of healing such as Mozart, writing 60 beats per minute music lasting just under an hour. Also as you listen to this type of music, imagine what your body and mind could do.

That is exactly what Brian’s CD offers. His inherent talent has crafted 57 minutes of original and continuous 60 beats per minute music designed to allow you to reach that healing and super conscious state of Alpha. This music makes the use of the Spine Tuner so much easier and allows any person to efficiently develop thoughts and feelings that facilitate all of the tools that effectively help us maintain our health.

We are proud and forever grateful that Brian Culbertson has consented to create this music for you. You will be amazed by all the uses you can put it to; listening before an athletic activity, before a speech or talk, before attempting a creative endeavor, before, during or after any stressful situation, and before using all the tools we recommend, especially the Spine Tuner. These are but a few of the situations in which this music can help you achieve the success you seek.

Now go off and enjoy this music. Play and have fun. And most of all, enjoy your life.
